Born and raised in the Detroit area, I attended University of Michigan and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and spent 18 years working for Los Angeles County Department of Public Works.  After my children were born, I was faced with a daughter who was on the autistic spectrum and a son with ADHD.  We relocated to the Florida Keys and I proceeded to educatate my daugther and learn how to help both of my children through special programs and education earning a doctorate degree in Professional Studies, School of Education at Capella University.  With God's divine intervention, both children are now successful young adults.  I currently work with children with learning disabilities.  As Director of Swan Learning Ministries, non-profit children's ministry, I am currently in the process of developing a lecture to share nationwide on good nutrition with a powerful testimony on how God touches and transforms lives through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
